Jennifer K. Mulcahy In my art, I seek to capture the way I see the world. My photography is inspired by texture, shape and emotion. Capturing images is one of my primary means of relating with the world. Travel photography is a passion of mine, and I strive to convey the joy and surprises I find while I explore. In my oil paintings and photomanipulations, dreams and inner world are my muse. Images often come to me unbidden, and seek release through my art. Personal symbolism emerges from time to time. For example, in a recent series of paintings, birds represent the heart while insects embody the mind. I work on several bodies of work concurrently. My current projects
include a series of surrealistic oil paintings and photomontages,
